Take on the trails without worrying about potential damage to your Ranger Raptor’s front undercarriage, intercooler, and other vulnerable components. Designed specifically for the 2024+ model, this tough but lightweight ¼” 5052 aluminum plate is thicker and stronger than Ford’s factory shield and works with the factory bumper and tow hook.

Keep your Ranger Raptor’s engine protected when taking on rough and rocky terrain. Constructed from heavy-duty ¼” 5052 aluminum, the IAG Trail Shield® Engine Skid Plate is tougher than the factory version and features an innovative removable panel that allows easy access for quick, easy oil changes without having to remove the entire plate.

The IAG Trail Shield® Transmission Skid Plate is constructed from a solid sheet of ¼” 5052 aluminum. Built tougher and thicker than the factory version, the skid plate tucks up and around the OE crossmembers to maximize ground clearance while providing a solid layer of protection for your Ranger Raptor’s transmission and its components.

This kit also includes the IAG Trail Shield® Transfer Case Skid Plate, which sits just behind the transmission skid plate to continue coverage along the underside of the Ranger Raptor. Constructed from solid aluminum and reinforced with a rear tubular steel crossmember, it offers increased strength over the OE skid while protecting the transfer case from impacts and trail obstacles.

The IAG Trail Shield® Fuel Tank Skid Plate offers additional protection by providing a cushion of space between the aluminum skid plate and fuel tank. This added clearance helps safeguard the tank from damage or dangerous leaks caused by impacts from rocks, branches, and other trail hazards. We’ve also upgraded the thin OE-style tank straps with tubular steel straps for added strength and support.

The IAG Trail Shield® Complete Skid Plate Set includes zinc-plated steel hardware that is ideal for heavy-duty trail use while offering corrosion protection against moisture, mud, and road debris. The plates feature recessed mounting points that protect the hardware and create a smooth surface that helps slide over rocks and other obstacles.

We use ¼” 5052 aluminum for the front, engine, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank skid plates because it provides strong, durable protection while keeping weight down. Steel reinforcements on the transfer case and fuel tank skid plates add strength in key areas without adding unnecessary weight. The installed kit sits approximately 1" to 1-3/4" lower than stock and weighs approximately 125 lbs total.

With the IAG Trail Shield® Skid Plates, you can choose a raw aluminum finish for a clean, industrial look, or our durable black powder coat for added protection against corrosion, scratches, and wear. The raw aluminum finish is left unfinished by design, so bend lines, tooling marks, and light surface scratches from fabrication are normal and cosmetic.

The IAG Trail Shield® Skid Plates are easy to install and bolt up to your 2024+ Ranger Raptor’s existing factory mounting points. There’s no drilling required, but you’ll need a ratchet or impact wrench to complete the job. The kit is compatible with most aftermarket bumpers unless a front differential drop is installed.
