IAG Drop Down EZ-Step® Add-on (2 Pair) For 2018+ Jeep Wrangler 4 Door / 2020+ Gladiator

I bought a 2026 Rubicon with rock rails already on the Jeep. I was looking for a step down that would attach without removing them and starting over. Found 2 companies that would do that and selected IAG Drop Down. Really glad I did. Very well made - solid and designed with ease of installing. Even was able to pick the color to add the step. Took very little to install, but what a difference they make on the Jeep. Not just how they look, but they function for both short and tall people. Had a step rail before on my Gladiator, but this design is 10 times better. Lets you easily get in and out of the Jeep. The design looks like it came with the Jeep - Highly recommend.

I had the original steps & they served their purpose, but were still a little high for my 5’2” height.

The drop downs are perfect and easy to install.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Upgrade: Functional, Factory-Looking, and Worth the Install

I absolutely love the IAG Drop Down EZ-Steps. They are significantly more functional than the steps I had previously, especially with the additional drop. What really impressed me is how well the color and texture match the factory Jeep rock rails. They look like they belong there rather than like an aftermarket add-on. The accent color on the step is the chef's kiss and adds just the right amount of detail without being overdone.

My only criticism is with the installation instructions. Both the written instructions and video make the installation seem very straightforward, but neither clearly shows exactly how the smaller connector piece needs to be positioned and aligned inside the factory rock rail. Maybe it was just me, but a simple close-up showing the correct orientation would have saved quite a bit of trial and error. Had that been clearly called out, I think installing all four steps could easily have been a 30-minute job or less.

I also had one rear step where I nearly had to remove the factory rock rail to get the securing panel positioned correctly. That added some frustration to an otherwise fairly simple installation.

Once installed, though, all of that was quickly forgotten. The quality is excellent, they're sturdy and far more useful, and the fit and finish complement the factory rock rails extremely well.

Bottom line: I couldn't be happier with the finished product. IAG nailed the quality, functionality, and appearance. Improve a couple of details in the installation instructions and these are just about perfect.

These are an epic upgrade from the original!!! They were great, but these are so much better!
I Love the look and functionality of the drop step without sacrificing the functionality of the OEM rock crawlers when we go off-road.

The quality of the fabricated parts is amazing. Very nice looking and heave duty. The hardware is a different story. One bolt broke while being tightened to the 5 pounds of torque specified. Unfortunately I didn't receive any extra like the 11 extra mismatched nuts I got. The second set for the rear didn't even come with bolts. I received hex head screws instead. I have to run to the hardware store to buy the bolts that I need for the installation.
Other than that everything was okay.

I installed the steps on my 2026 Jeep Gladiator. The rear steps fit but the forward attach point was almost touching the body. You could not slip anything thicker than a piece of paper between them. For some this would be ok but for me no comfortable with it so I removed the rear steps. I am the only person anyway in and out of the Jeep so no big deal. Will use the other 2 steps as back up.

They work great! Installation was a breeze! I really like them! Very functional!

This product is fantastic and the customer service was even better! When I say that I mean on FaceTime with us under the jeep working out above you don’t get that kind of service anymore!

The quality of the product is top line. The design could use some revision. I bought the IAG Drop Down EZ Step to put on my Gladiator to assist with entry. However, two things became evident to me. First, the actual foot pad could be a little longer to help with foot placement. The second issue for me is the actual height/dropdown of the step. It does not drop down far enough. You list the dropdown height to be about 11 inches and mine installed are 10.5 inches. I think if you had version that had a drop of 4 more inches (15" drop) entry would be easier. I'm of average height (5'10") and when I step onto the step and then into the cab, I have to then bend down excessively to get head and shoulder clearance to get in. This indicates to me the step height is still too high. Therefore, your steps are not working all that well for me. As it is, while well made, I spent a sizable sum for steps I will not continue to use. I would like to return them but do not see a way to do so.
