GAS-CHARGED FOR EFFORTLESS OPERATION
The IAG EZ-Lift® Hood Strut Kit is designed to make opening and closing your Bronco's hood easy. The gas-charged struts are constructed from steel and feature a black powder-coated finish. They are secured to the hood with CNC laser-cut and powder-coated custom steel brackets. This kit allows for hands-free operation when opening the hood. No more fumbling with the OEM prop rod. The rigid design also protects your hood from possible wind damage when open.

The IAG EZ-Lift® Hood Strut kit is designed to be easy to install. The average installation time is less than 15 minutes, and it can be done with basic hand tools in your own garage. The kit features full written and video instructions to assist you with any questions you may have. There's no cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications.

Great product and honestly this should have been an OEM item. The instructions were very clear and installation was very easy.

The install was easy and fast. It definitely opens the hood more than normal giving you more room to work under the hood. One concern I have is when I close the hood I think the strut on the passenger side might be kissing the windshield washer reservoir. Other than that it’s a good set up.

These are just amazing. They make working on your vehicle safe. No worries if your hood rod will get knocked loose. It’s also safe against wind gusts that blow the hood back damaging the windshield and hood.

Easy install. Professional, much better than the “stick” Ford gives you. The way it should be from the factory. Would recommend.

Strut opens up way too fast not slow and smooth like it should be jerky not good

Got this kit and took about 20-30 minutes to install. it opens the hood quite a bit more. I wont be able to open hood under garage door. So watch out when you open the first few times for a low clearance.

really like these struts to replace the poll which is always in the way. watched the IAG video. install was easy and took less than an hour. gas struts are very strong and hold the hood up with no problems.
